They sent me a message stating they were from PayPal and someone had put a fee on my account and then told me to contact them to prevent fraud. They are fraudulent and do not click on any link or ring them.
Ran a check on this number out of caution. Leaving a note in case it's useful to others.. possibly a scam directing you to contact the provided number stating its PAYPAL and concerns a big purchase attempt but it is not Paypals number as on their website. Be careful what you click on
These guys sent me a message about my Paypal account, which doesn't exist, I don't have a Paypal account, being charged a certain amount of money. I called Paypal and they said this number wasn't a registered Paypal number, so I reported it.
number has an Irish country code. I received a voicemail saying it was paypal and $999 Australian dollars was charged on my paypal account and to press 1 etc. I just deleted message. Checked paypal and no unknown payments for said amount are showing up.
Security Notification message claiming to be from myGov stating that my account is scheduled for permanent suspension due to incomplete verification. You must authenticate your identity immediately to prevent irreversible closure, It then gives a Verification Link (which I wont type here) IT'S A DEFINITE SCAM TO STEAL IDENTITY AS myGov don't send SMS's with links, neither does the ATO. Besides...
Some chinese scam call asking do i want English or mandarin language as follows "English please press one for Mandarin please press two Yunga Ida Dia Yin Xu mi cha jintian qing to fuang" Message2Text
This number listed as coming from Ireland as a missed call and at roughly the same time a text message with a 1800 number. Despite Australian Communications and Media Authority's (ACMA) "Unverified" in SMS for unknown senders introduced on 1 July.
This number called me from France (as well a second French call with almost identical numbers) - left no message. I don’t know anyone in France!! Definitely suspicious, do not answer and block.

The caller said someone had just attempted to withdraw $1800 dollars on my card. The voice sounded automated. It then said if it wasn't me to press 1 or if I wanted to proceed with the payment press 2. I initially answered the call because I thought it was my Uber driver checking on the pickup spot. I hung up, didn't press any buttons. I was cold and tired , a bit flustered but decided it was...
Some sort of "there were fraudulent transactions on your Visa card" scam. Automated message gave me the option to press "2" and when I did, they put me through a guy that calls himself "Mark Jonathan", which is a good name except he had an Indian accent.
This call is an elaborate scam... I received it on my Australian phone number from France. I did not answer it as I do not have anyone in France. The message was left claiming that this call was from Visa Security about two non-existing transaction to my account and asking me to press an option 1 on my phone. If you get a phone call like this never answer and report the scam.
Call originated from France. I had been talking to a French woman about three hours ago. It would appear that 64 other people have received calls from this number.
Got a missed call from 33 7 58 01 84 79. Don’t know if it was a scam call or a genuine mistake but I have gotten told by many that it’s apart of a world wide scam? No idea.
I received a call from this number-source France- and the caller said they were calling on behalf of PayPal and said that a suspicious amount of $999 was on my account and when pressed as to where/whom they said Colorado USA. The call appeared to be from a predictive dialer as there was a click over into the call centre. They wanted to argue when pressed and got abusive which has exposed the...
Call originated from France. Believe it to be spam as "the caller" left an automated message asking me to select a preferred language - English or Chinese...
This call was listed as from Ireland? First time that has happened and was very confused as im from Australia and only get 04 or 02 numbers as scam or telemarketing
A female voice with Asian accent said it was a message from Amazon asking for payment. I did not purchase anything from Amazon for a long time. Suspected spam.
+39 333 318 1212 (Italy) The usual recorded message about 2 transactions/payments of $xxx. Press 1 to stop the transaction. I pressed 2 and was finally connected to a well-spoken lady (very light accent) who engaged with my usual conversation I apply to scammers (about not doing my financials anymore). Very few responses from her end. Then she stopped responding while I kept saying hello....
